Necessary Debate Materials

I stopped off this evening to a local grocery store and picked up some necessary accessories for tonight's VP debate. Beer to dumb the senses to how bad Palin's answers are and chocolate to make me feel better when the pundits says she won because she was charming, did better than expected and got Joe Biden to say something stupid. Sigh...


The beer portion consists of a local microbrew from Ellicotville called Pantius Droppus (mainly because its 10% ABV which apparently causes drinkers to drop trau), Vanilla Java Porter (just because that sounds tasty) and Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale. The two chocolates I selected were Valrhona's Manjari (with some orange peel) and Nirvana's Spicy Aztec (with chilis, almonds, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg).
