The Canadian - New York Connection

Two friends of mine, Kyle and Neil, were married in Toronto on Friday. While New York doesn't allow same-sex marriages, a recent ruling though said that out of the country marriages must be recognized. With a chance to get legal benefits, off the boys went to Canada. Unfortunately, the powers that be registered an appeal to the judgment on the same day they got gay-married. Regardless, tomorrow I'm going up to a big gay Oscar celebration/wedding shower in their honor. There's even an indoor pool at the home where the party is taking place. Woo hoo. Too bad I don't have my kilt; it is the attire of choice for big gay celebrations!

Sounds fun!

Hey - thanks for your comments on my post. It is CRAZY! Oh, and I did apply for a few positions in New York, 2 in NYC and 2 in BUFFALO. ;-)

Okay, isn't having a wedding shower during the Oscars going to be so what I do when I get gay-married? And I don't even really follow the Oscars, but it's just too good not to do.

Now I just have to find a guy to gay-marry...

MG, the guy to gay-marry is always the limiting factor. And so many have the delusions that they are straight. What the hell is that? I could get gay married in a heartbeat if they just gave in! But definitely have some kind of big gay extravaganza to celebrate it. Definitely.

JDZS, See your blog. You're always welcome in Buffalo!

Please tell me - why does a gay marriage sound so much more fun than a straight marriage!??!
