I'm Gonna Love American Idol

Honestly, I really don't like American Idol. I'm extremely critical of other people's singing. I'll blame my ex on that one. And seeing a bunch of under-talented wannabes (read: Amy Krebs) trying to sing like Mariah Carey revolts me. Besides after the gloriousness that is Kelly Clarkson, do we really NEED more American Idols?

Wednesday, after the Racquetball Incident of 2007, Miwa and I were watching AI. Enter one Lakisha Jones. Holy sweet fuck. I had goosebumps while she was singing, "And I Am Telling You." While I would rather watch Jake Gyllenhaal in his fantastic drag version on SNL (damn those arms...Jake, call me!), Lakisha was a dream. Lakisha, you go!
